Today is my fiftieth birthday. When Shakespeare was my age he had written the Complete Works of Shakespeare, with the sole exception of Henry VIII.

I'm a little bit older than the average life expectancy in Ethiopia.

I also just noticed that when Judy Garland was my age she had been dead for three years. It's getting a bit late for me to achieve what she achieved. I suppose the last possibility would be to have sex with Mickey Rooney, and even there I'd better get a move on. (He is 88, which is older than the life expectancy of any country in the world - even of women in Macao, whose life expectancy is 87.5.)
