Some parts of Ulysses contain lots of rambling. Maybe, that's the good thing about it--the streaming consciousness thing. Ever write that way? Like a mind being blown all over the place--a leaf in a wind. A Portrait of the Artist as A Young Man is my eternal favorite. It's hard to forget all those dream-like images.
